I want to share with you guys 2 products from The Ordinary that I've been enjoying..

The first product I tried was the 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil- It is super handy as it comes with a dropper, whereas some other oils just have to be poured out and can be a little messy. I really enjoyed using this oil all over my face but also on any dry areas of my skin. I have even used it on my brows and the ends of my hair. I really like having an oil at my desk or in the bathroom so I can easily apply it to any annoying dry areas. For anyone who wears lash extensions you need to be careful of where you are applying oils but for me, I don’t have them on right now so I have been putting this all over my face. I don’t recommend using it before applying makeup as it can make it sit funny on the skin, I normally apply it after a bath or shower in the evening. This is what the website says about it

A pure blend of cold-pressed and organic rosehip oil which hydrates and supports healthy skin. Rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, rosehip oil is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties. This silky oil helps to calm redness, hydrate dry skin, treat scars and burns, brighten skin, and regenerate damaged tissue.

• Rosehip - A naturally sourced hydrating oil, rich in Vitamins E and C, and fatty acids.

The next product I tried was their Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%. Following the directions for this product I use it a few times a week, at nighttime before bed. It can have a slight tingling sensation on the skin, and you can mix with other creams if it’s too irritating. It didn’t really bother me but take care putting it over any cracked or broken skin because it will BURN! I noticed a big difference after about 5 days of using this product. I have been using this for about 2 months now I feel like it has evened out my skin toned and brightened + plumped the skin. I think it’s rare to find a product that actually works and that you see real results from, I just wish I had taken a before photo to make a comparison. My skin type is normal with some areas of dehydration. There are some mixed reviews online but this is what the website says about it

A gentle serum formulated to visibly target uneven skin tone and signs of aging skin. Free from water and silicones, this surface-smoothing serum delivers a concentrated blend of antioxidant-rich Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to the skin, working to reverse and prevent signs of aging by visibly smoothing, brightening, and plumping.

• L-Ascorbic Acid - The strongest form of Vitamin C, exfoliates skin and works efficiently to slow the ageing process and boost skin health.

• Hyaluronic Acid - Attracts up to 1000 times its weight in water.

I have been really impressed with the products I have tried from The Ordinary and I definitely want to try more. I think I will have a look into another one of their oils and the ‘Matrixyl 10% + HA 30ml’ which I have read some really good reviews about. As a company they're cruelty free and some of their products are vegan. Their prices are really good and from what I can tell they have some great products. You can find them online, I have purchased from them on ASOS and Beauty Bay.
