Best Vegan Brunch Spots | Amsterdam

Amsterdam really has some of the best vegan options when it comes to brunch. I think it’s safe to say I have had the best vegan pancakes ever when we visited Amsterdam. These are my top 3 breakfast and brunch spots, all of them are quite central as well.

3. Beter & Leuk, Eerste Oosterparkstraat 73.

This super cute spot has some amazing options. They stock delicious pastries from the Dutch Vegan Bakery who make yummy cinnamon buns and croissants to name a few. We forgot to take photos of what we ordered when we were there so please enjoy these ones I swiped from google haha ;)

2. MOAK Pancakes Pijp, Ferdinand Bolstraat 11HS

The runner up for the best breakfast/brunch spot definitely has to be MOAK. Important to note that this isn’t an exclusively vegan restaurant and they have veggie + meat options on their menu. I believe they also have two locations in Amsterdam. The interior is extremely instagrammable, note the neon sign. For any non vegans dining I want to share with you the bougiest item on the menu.. for € 100 you can enjoy “THE GOLDDIGGER”

“VERSACE, VERSACE, VERSACE

Stack with 3 blueberry pancakes, a large scoop of Saffron pistachio ice cream (our secret recipe), covered with melted natural Ruby (pink) chocolate, on top 3 gold leaves of 22 carat gold. Blackberries, raspberries, edible flowers, pistachio nuts, caramelized pineapple in Canadian Maple Syrup, with a glass of Luc Belaire Rosé champagne on the side. Served in style on a Versace plate with gold Versace cutlery.”

Safe to say we didn’t indulge in The Gold Digger, but my Vegan pancakes with fruit were still delicious!

1. Mr. Stacks, Govert Flinckstraat 122.

My all time favourite vegan pancakes and the number one spot for breakfast/brunch in Amsterdam. We picked this place on a whim, we just googled ‘pancakes’ and headed straight over. Not only do they have the most decadent stacks, they also have bubble tea! I believe their whole menu is vegan apart from one chicken dish. Stas got the Plant Based Burger Stack, he liked it but he found it a little too spicy. I got the Dutch Apple Stack, with a type of Halva cotton candy on top! The pancakes were sooo good, especially for vegan pancakes, they were super fluffy. To drink Stas got an iced fruit tea and I got an early grey boba tea with almond milk, yummy! I loved it so much the first time that we ended up going again before we left to go back to Dublin!
